Dear all,
The daggerboard opening is a very stressed part of any dinghy hull. Capsizing yesterday (details on http://vikingvareo.wordpress.com/), I noticed minor cracks around my daggerboard opening. This surprised me, My previous fiberglass dinghies (1969 Windy and 1982 Laser) never had such cracks. I will turn the boat around and do either of these:
- drip fluid polyester
- drip fluid epoxy
- paste epoxy glue
- paste gelcoat repair
Anybody had such cracks?
How serious might it be?
What would you do about it? (I think dripping polyster is best if the crack is deep)
Note: The hull is NOT leaking so I think the crack is superficial, but anyways....

Hi all! Rob Eastwood has now looked at my pics and it's probably just superficial gelcoat cracks, nothing serious
